Wellington High School Facilities

 

Wellington High School has modern buildings with attractive, well-lit classrooms.

There are excellent gym facilities,

  • - seven science laboratories,

- seven computer suites,

- five well-equipped modern technology workshops,

- superior food technology facilities,

- digital and traditional photography rooms,

- and a library with the most recent on-line computer research and information programmes.

  

Wellington High School has well equipped Art and Music suites and the large school hall, the Riley Centre, is a recognised city venue for Drama and Music. Tennis courts and a football field complete the facilities.

 

 

 

  

Wellington High School also has an outdoor education centre at French Pass at the top of the South Island. Students attend this idyllic centre as part of their Yr 9 programme, for outdoor education and for special camps.
