Payment for accommodation

International Students who have homestays arranged by Wellington High School pay all their accommodation fees into the school. The school then takes responsibility for paying the students’ homestay family every two weeks.
A Student's accommodation account at the school must always be in credit. When a student's account has less than 4 weeks credit, the student is invoiced for the amount due until the end of the current academic year. This amount must be paid within the 4 week period.

All students pay a one off NZ $350 accommodation monitoring and placement fee.

Homestay is $NZ 220.00 per week.

Hostel accommodation is variable around $NZ 185 for a single room and $NZ 245 for a double but it depends on the type of room and where it is located in the hostel.

Flatting cost depends on the type of rental property found and the number of people sharing the apartment.

Few students use this type of accommodation and they are responsible for making and arranging their own payments however the Homestay Co-ordinator still monitors students' welfare and attendance.

If students wish to leave their homestay they must give two weeks notice or pay of two weeks board if they wish to  leave immediately without giving notice.
