Wellington High School Graduating Certificate

All international students at Wellington High School study towards a graduation at the end of their courses. 

Students who meet the requirements are awarded Certificates of Graduation.

  

Graduation Certificates are awarded at three levels to students who have achieved:

Excellence:

· completes a full programme of 5 courses

· earns grades of B+ or better (80%)

· participates fully in class activities

· achieves 95% attendance

· is a member of a sports team or cultural  group

· achieves a high English language level

 

Merit:

· completes a full programme of 5 courses

· earns grades of C+ or better (65%)

· achieves 95% attendance

· plays a sport or a musical instrument

· achieves an intermediate level of English

 

 

Completion:

· completes a full programme of 5 courses

· achieves attendance of 95%

· earns grades of C- or better  (45%)

· English is improved
