Life in New Zealand is really different from the one in Italy as school starts at a different time and you have the opportunity to choose your own subjects.

That means you can choose subjects that you have an interest or talent for, and you can do things you have never done before. For example, I studied Outdoor Education where we learnt about outdoor activities like rock climbing and kayaking, and I studied Drama and Film and Television.

We found out that we have more freedom and individual responsibility in life outside of school than in our country. We could plan our days and choose what we wanted to do in our free time. We found that people here are really nice, kind and friendly and they’re ready to help you when you need it.

If you come to Wellington you should see the Te Papa museum, the botanic gardens, Parliament, ride the cable car and of course to Reading Cinemas. We really enjoyed our time here and we hope to come back soon to visit our Kiwi friends.
